Our department is constantly reviewing employee benefits to provide improvements. Most recently, we focused on our psychological benefits package in response to requests from employees and with a view to general trends among other major regional employers.
As a result of our evaluation, we are pleased to announce that as of June 30, the lifetime limit on reimbursements for in-patient psychiatric treatment has been increased to $50,000. In addition, GHCP will now reimburse out-patient psychological counseling at $40 per visit; annual limits on out-patient visits have been increased to $1,000 per year. The lifetime limit for out-patient psychological counseling has been increased to $10,000.
These new benefits will be described in our annual benefits brochure, but you may wish to keep a copy of this memo on file for reference.
